Joanne Tang Yu-chi (stage name 9m88) is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and actress who began releasing music in the mid-2010s and issued her debut album Beyond Mediocrity in 2019. She studied jazz in New York at The New School and has performed at international festivals such as Summer Sonic and Clockenflap. Her debut release led to nominations at Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards and she works across music, film, podcasting and fashion.
