Angus Fairbairn, known professionally as Alabaster dePlume, is a saxophonist, spoken-word poet, composer and activist. He is closely associated with the Total Refreshment Centre scene and has released records on International Anthem, including Gold (2022), Come With Fierce Grace (2023) and A Blade Because a Blade Is Whole (2025). He gained wider attention with the instrumental collection To Cy & Lee (2020) and is known for improvised recording sessions featuring rotating ensembles.
