Angelica Sanchez is a pianist, composer, and educator active on the New York creative-music scene since the mid-1990s. She leads her own ensembles (trio and nonet among others), has released albums on labels including Clean Feed and Sunnyside (her 2022 album was named a top jazz album by The New York Times), and has received awards and fellowships while teaching at Bard College.
