Hailing from the unlikely roots of Santa Cruz, California, Archer is a band determined to deliver genuine uncompromised and unrelenting ass-kicking hard rock and heavy metal music to fans of all ages. Sebastian's precise drumming, David’s masterful bass duties, and Dylan’s captivating combination of playing and singing make for a sound and a band that is uniquely satisfying while retaining all the heavy metal inspiration that ultimately drives them. In addition to embracing the touring grind, Archer has recorded with the likes of Sam Taylor (King’s X, ZZ Top) & Gilby Clarke of Guns and Roses/Rock Star Supernova fame. DYLAN….Guitar and Lead Vocals Dylan carries his guitar and vocal duties with a passion. His musings across the fretboard confound and entertain, as he cites important influences such as Randy Rhoads, Tony Iommi, Eddie Van Halen, and Zakk Wylde. His passionate singing lets the audience know just how much the music matters to him; it is astonishing to watch him weave his talented playing and singing into a singular act. Whether he’s on or off the stage, Dylan always plays for keeps. DAVID…Bass and Vocals David holds a reverence for the bass guitar that is truly rare. His technical proficiency and musically diverse style come from years of honing his craft with a dedication not often seen. Influenced by the likes of Geezer Butler, Jack Bruce, Jaco Pastorius, Billy Sheehan, John Entwistle, and Marcus Miller, the present day result is a monster metal musician that Archer fans love as he unleashes his killer playing night in and night out. SEBASTIAN...Drums Blown away by the groove and energy of drummers from the moment he witnessed his first live show, Sebastian had a pretty clear vision of what he wanted to do with his life: Become a drummer and fill the role in a great band. Attending music school from age 4 and performing regularly with a big band by age 10, Sebastian was on his way to reach his goals at a young age. Throughout his teens, he practiced for hours after school and cut his teeth with multiple bands in the local music scene. He committed to hitting the road regularly, performing across Europe with acts such as Axxept, Storm, and Redhouse Streetband. After a year of studying abroad in Brighton, England, Sebastian auditioned for German metal outfit “Downspirit” upon his return to Germany in 2008, which lead to a 3 year stint recording, co-producing their debut and touring internationally in support of the album. After moving to California in October 2012, he quickly got in contact with Archer regarding the drummer vacancy – and the rest is history!
