Ari Hoenig (born November 13, 1973) is an American drummer, composer, and educator known for a melodic approach to the drum kit and advanced polyrhythmic concepts. He has released multiple albums as a leader, authored instructional books and DVDs on rhythm and independence, and has taught at institutions including New York University and The New School.
