Art Hirahara is an American pianist and composer who studied at the Oberlin Conservatory and the California Institute of the Arts and moved to New York in 2003. He has released several albums on Posi-Tone Records (including Noble Path, Libations & Meditations, and Central Line) and has recorded and performed with musicians such as Donny McCaslin and Linda May Han Oh. His music video "Brooklyn Express" won multiple festival awards in 2019.
