Formed in 2001, Audioslave released three studio albums: Audioslave (2002), Out of Exile (2005), and Revelations (2006). Out of Exile debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and the band performed a historic open-air concert in Havana in May 2005. The group disbanded in 2007, briefly reunited in 2017, and ceased after the death of lead singer Chris Cornell on May 18, 2017.
