Benjamin Tod Flippo is an American singer-songwriter and the frontman/primary songwriter of Lost Dog Street Band, a DIY string-band that began in 2010 and built its audience through busking and crowdfunding. The band's 2019 release Weight of a Trigger reached No. 5 on Billboard's Bluegrass Albums chart, and Tod has released several solo albums (including I Will Rise, A Heart of Gold Is Hard to Find, Songs I Swore I'd Never Sing, and Shooting Star). He frequently self-releases material and maintains an active online presence and touring profile.
