BERTHA: Grateful Drag is a drag?infused Grateful Dead tribute ensemble formed in Tennessee in 2023 as an all?star collective of queer and allied East Nashville musicians. The project was created in part as a joyful, defiant response to anti?drag legislation and has received coverage in outlets including Rolling Stone, Jambase, and Yahoo. BERTHA has toured nationally, performing full live sets at venues such as the Great American Music Hall and Brooklyn Bowl.
