My name is Billy Test. I'm a composer, arranger, educator and a pianist in all styles, ranging from pop to jazz to classical. You name it, I'll play it. That said, I'm most at home within the jazz and classical realms. At age 10, I won the Ole Bull Music Festival in Galeton, PA rewarding me with the opportunity to perform in Merkin Concert Hall, NYC. Since then, I have performed there three times. At the age of thirteen, I had the honor of playing for former President Jimmy Carter while accompanying Cahal Dunne, a well known Irish tenor out of Pittsburgh. I was selected as the PMEA All State Jazz pianist from 2005-2007, and was selected as the All Eastern Jazz Ensemble pianist in March 2007. I was the pianist in the Valley Jazz Orchestra under joint the direction of Dan Yoder and Rick Hirsh from 2005-2007. I perform with my own trio and quartet, as well as perform numerous freelance and solo gigs. Through these associations, I have had the honor of performing with Rick Hirsh, Dan Yoder, Grammy Award Winning Todd Coolman, Dennis DiBlasio, George Rabbai, Jim McFalls, Martin Wind, Russ Kassoff, Dennis Mackrel, and Steve LaSpina. I am a student at William Paterson University majoring in jazz piano performance while minoring in classical piano.
