Formed in 2012 by Austin Davis and Jacob Stewart, Camping in Alaska released the cult-favorite debut please be nice in 2013 after the track “C U in da Ballpit” gained traction online. The group released multiple albums, underwent a hiatus related to members' substance issues, and returned with releases including Lost and Found (2022), Hollow Eyes (2023) and Eggbeater Jesus (2024), touring again in the mid-2020s.
