Carol Morgan is a Juilliard-educated jazz trumpeter, composer, educator and author who leads the Carol Morgan Trio/Quartet and has released seven albums as a leader. Her 2011 quartet album Blue Glass Music received 4½ stars in DownBeat, and she authored the jazz method textbook The Practicing Improviser. She performs regularly in New York clubs and at national and international venues.
