Charmaine Lee (b. 1991) is an Australian-born vocalist and electronics artist based in New York whose practice focuses on voice, feedback, live processing, and improvisation. She has been singled out as “extraordinary” by The New Yorker and featured in The New York Times and The Washington Post, and has released solo work including Tulpa and KNVF. Lee is a Jerome Hill Artist Fellow (2025), an Emergent Ventures winner (2024), and has performed at venues such as Lincoln Center, MoMA, and Storm King Art Center.
