Danny Lipsitz is a bandleader and saxophonist who leads The Brass Tacks. The group has performed at venues including Lincoln Center and Joe's Pub and has toured internationally; in 2021 they partnered with Midori and Friends to teach saxophone workshops in schools. In 2024–25 they brought a 14-piece orchestra to headline Summer For The City at Lincoln Center and sold out Bard College's Spiegeltent.
