Earlybirds Club was co-founded in Chicago in 2024 by Laura Baginski and Susie Lee as a roving early-evening dance party for women, trans, and non-binary folks that runs roughly 6–10 p.m. The concept expanded quickly to multiple U.S. cities and earned coverage in outlets including The New York Times and Axios while donating a portion of proceeds to local nonprofits. After Susie Lee's death in August 2025, the organization continued operations with Helean Lee serving as DJ and Music Director.
