Edsel Gomez (born August 9, 1962) is a pianist, composer, arranger and musical director who studied at Berklee College of Music and spent significant time working in Brazil before establishing his base in New York. He earned a Grammy nomination for his album Cubist Music, arranged and directed Dee Dee Bridgewater's Grammy-winning Eleanora Fagan (1915–1959) recording, and has performed and recorded with artists including Jack DeJohnette, Don Byron and David Sánchez while leading world-fusion projects.
