About
Formed in Montevideo (the group's first shows began in 1984), El Cuarteto de Nos has released numerous studio albums and become one of Uruguay's best-known rock exports. Their 2006 album Raro brought them wider international recognition, and the band won two Latin Grammy Awards in 2012 (including Best Pop/Rock Album for Porfiado and Best Rock Song for "Cuando sea grande"). They are noted for literate, often satirical lyrics and frequent stylistic experimentation.
