Footballhead began as singer-songwriter Ryan Nolen’s solo project before expanding into a full band. They released Overthinking Everything in 2024 and, after signing with Tiny Engines, issued their sophomore LP Weight Of The Truth on March 20, 2026; the group has supported established acts and made a Riot Fest appearance in 2025.
