About
Formed in 2014 by schoolmates (including cousins Frederik Rabe and Finn Schwieters), Giant Rooks grew from self-released EPs to international touring. They won the 1Live Krone Förderpreis and the Preis für Popkultur (Most Promising Newcomer) in 2019 and released their debut album Rookery in August 2020. The band has since toured Europe and North America and achieved chart recognition through collaborations such as their recorded version of "Tom's Diner" with AnnenMayKantereit.
