He studied at the Brubeck Institute and The New School and was a semi-finalist in the 2011 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition. Zaleski has released multiple albums on Sunnyside Records and his own label (including My Ideal, Fellowship, The Question, Star Dreams) and is a frequent leader and sideman on the New York scene, performing with artists such as Ravi Coltrane and Cécile McLorin Salvant.
