The group was formed in March 1996 by Óscar Iván Treviño and Dimas López and rose to prominence in the early 2000s. Their albums Necesito Más de Ti (2009) and Solamente Tú (2010) both debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts, and they have released numerous studio and live records while touring across Mexico and the United States.
