He studied at the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance and has been active on the New York music scene since 2000. He released the album Air (2009) on Brooklyn Jazz Underground Records, has an extensive career as a sideman on numerous acclaimed recordings, and composed the soundtrack for the documentary Toxic Amazon.
