Haircut One Hundred formed in 1980 and were fronted by singer-songwriter Nick Heyward. Their 1982 debut album Pelican West produced several UK top-ten singles, including "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)" and "Love Plus One," and achieved strong UK album chart success. Heyward left in 1983, the original lineup soon dissolved, and the group have reunited periodically for tours and new releases.
