About
Formed in 2019, Hammered Hulls is a Washington, D.C. band featuring Alec MacKaye, Mary Timony, Mark Cisneros, and Chris Wilson. Their debut 7" was released on Dischord Records in 2019 and their full-length album Careening followed in 2022; early recordings were done at Inner Ear with Don Zientara and Ian MacKaye involved in the sessions. The group draws on longtime D.C. punk connections and members' histories in notable regional bands.
