Kyle Koehler is a Hammond B3 organist and leader of the Kyle Koehler Trio who established himself on the New York City jazz scene after moving there in the late 1990s. He has recorded as a leader and sideman — including the album Exit 13 — had music placed on HBO's Sex and the City, toured Japan, and was chosen as a Jazz Ambassador by the Kennedy Center and U.S. State Department to tour Africa. Koehler has performed with artists such as Dave Stryker, Ed Cherry and Don Braden, appeared at major festivals worldwide, and was named a "Rising Star" in DownBeat's critics poll.
