LWO was formed in June 2008 and has since appeared in Lambeth and the surrounding boroughs numerous times, including concerts in Ruskin Park, Myatts Fields Park, local schools, The British Home, fundraising events at Waterloo Station and Borough Market (for Kids Company and St. Christopher’s Hospice) and opening out its rehearsal venue to the community for special Christmas and Comic Relief events, helping to raise nearly £5,000 for different charities.
