She launched a solo career with a self-titled instrumental EP (2011) that featured Felipe Andreoli and later won the instrumental category of the Samsung E-Festival (2014). Basilio has recorded with top session musicians (Vinnie Colaiuta, Nathan East, Leland Sklar) and featured Joe Satriani as a guest; she unveiled a signature Ibanez LB1 in 2021. Her album Redemption was released May 16, 2025.
