Laurie Berkner began performing professionally in 1992 and released her first children's album Whaddaya Think of That? in 1997; her song "We Are the Dinosaurs" became a signature hit. She has released numerous best-selling children's albums, authored picture books, created an Audible Original series, and performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the White House.
