Formed in winter 2012, Looms is led by frontman Sharif Mekawy and features collaborators including Harry Morris Jr., A. Hammond Murray, Louis Cozza, and Fred Copeman. The group self-released their debut LP Waking Days in 2015 and has continued releasing records and performing, most recently the album Big Dream (released September 19, 2025).
