MACALAS was formed in 2023 by three experienced musicians (Bruce MacPherson, Bill Calabrese, and Dave Las) to present large-scale arena-style concert productions. The group blends faithful recreations of classic progressive-era concert pieces with a selection of original songs. Keyboardist Bruce MacPherson is an Emmy Award recipient for music on a PBS special.
