Mai-Elka Prado Gil is a singer-songwriter and cultural organizer who founded the Afro-Latino Festival NYC in 2012 and grew it into a multi-venue annual event. She has released singles including "Cuidao" and "Cada Marea", works in arts programming (Brooklyn Arts Council), and has contributed music to projects such as Miss Panama (2021).
