Malfet is the solo project of William Ross Major (credited as Ross Major), active since 2018. Major has released multiple full-lengths and EPs including The Snaking Path (2018), The Way to Avalon (2019), Alban Arthan (2020), and Dolorous Gard (2023), and has performed at events such as Northeast Dungeon Siege and on tours supporting Mortiis. He also runs the Pacific Threnodies imprint and has received premieres and coverage from outlets like Decibel and GRAMMY.com.
