Mamiko Watanabe is a Japanese-born jazz pianist and composer who moved to New York after receiving a scholarship to Berklee College of Music. She was a two-time semi-finalist in the Montreux Jazz Festival Solo Piano Competition and received the DownBeat Student Award in the Jazz Soloist category. As a leader she has released multiple albums including One After Another (2005) and Being Guided by the Light (2024) featuring Santi Debriano and Billy Hart.
