Miguel Ángel Carreño Schmelter, known professionally as Micky, led the 1960s band Micky y Los Tonys before launching a solo career. He represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 1977 with “Enséñame a cantar” (placing 9th) and scored hits across Europe such as “El chico de la armónica” and “Bye Bye Fräulein.” He has remained active in music and performance into the 21st century.
