Led by guitarist and singer Karl Schwarz, New Moon Acoustic Blues revives early 20th-century African?American roots music, drawing on Delta, Piedmont and Hill Country blues traditions and featuring collaborators such as harmonica player David A. Barnes. The group has released music on Bandcamp and SoundCloud, maintained regular club residencies and been featured on NPR and regional festival bills.
