Omar+ built an early following via a DIY house party series called Planet Plus and early singles such as "Lights", "AfterParty" and "Pretty Girls", which together had amassed over 2 million streams by the end of 2024. In 2025 he expanded into higher-profile collaborations (including work with Josh Baker and Luke Dean) and has been featured in outlets such as MusicTech and Dork.
