Orange Burn is equal parts old-school funk, soul, rock and R&B. Combining the sonic textures of artists like Tina Turner, Parliament Funkadelic, and Jimi Hendrix, Orange Burn delivers a dynamic and memorable performance that is guaranteed to get the dance floor grooving. The group has been fusing styles and pushing musical boundaries in the Tri-State area since 2014. The brainchild of bassist Adam Marr, who composed much of the group’s original material, Orange Burn features strong, melodic, and memorable bass lines and a groove-forward sound. Built on top of that foundation are pocket drum grooves, dueling synth and guitar solos, and powerhouse vocal harmonies.
Orange Burn is currently finishing a full-length album that will be out in the fall of 2023. Their self-titled first EP was released in the fall of 2017, it can be heard anywhere music is streamed.
