Oakland Ca, Rachel Angel is a singer, poet, and guitar player. She likes to make guitar noise and she likes to belt. Currently, her band Rachel Angel & The Revelations is playing and writing new material. The Revs are a group of prolific musicians who each have their own eclectic aesthetic and they rock. Currently- exploring jolty guitar noise, "off" chords, melodies that "write themselves".
Her obsessions and, mainly, her obsession with music comes from an obsession with time and the rare moments when it pauses.- the moments of complete conscious- where Sisyphus is free of his rolling rock and reflects on his tragedy.
