Raven Chacon is a Diné composer, sound artist, and installation-maker whose work has been presented at institutions including the Whitney Biennial, documenta 14, and the Kennedy Center. He won the 2022 Pulitzer Prize in Music for Voiceless Mass (becoming the first Native American composer to receive the award) and was named a MacArthur Fellow in 2023. Chacon has received commissions and awards from organizations such as Kronos Quartet, Creative Capital, and the American Academy in Berlin.
