About
Formed in 1993 by Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli, the band built a multi-album, narrative-driven catalogue beginning with Legendary Tales and continuing through releases such as Symphony of Enchanted Lands and Dawn of Victory. They adopted the name Rhapsody of Fire in 2006 and have continued recording and touring through multiple lineup changes while releasing long-running fantasy sagas (notably the Emerald Sword Saga).
