Robert Randolph (born August 8, 1977) is a pedal-steel guitarist and bandleader who emerged from the African-American 'sacred steel' church tradition and fronts Robert Randolph & the Family Band. He has released multiple acclaimed albums, earned several Grammy nominations, and won the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album for Preacher Kids. Randolph is credited with bringing the pedal steel into mainstream blues/rock stages and has toured widely since the early 2000s.
