Sam Gendel is an American saxophonist and producer who released his Nonesuch debut Satin Doll in 2020 and co-wrote tracks on Vampire Weekend's 2019 album Father of the Bride. He issued the three-hour, 52-track Fresh Bread in 2021 and has frequently collaborated with bassist Sam Wilkes, including the 2018 live album Music for Saxofone & Bass Guitar.
