Raised in the Boston folk scene and mentored by jug-band legend Jim Kweskin, Samoa Wilson performs vintage jazz, blues and traditional material across several projects. She leads duos and a vintage-jazz trio (including the Four O’Clock Flowers) and has played New York venues such as Terra Blues; critics have described her voice as “sweet, effortless, old-timey.”
