Fronted by singer–bassist Royston Langdon, Spacehog achieved mainstream attention with the 1996 single "In the Meantime" from their debut album Resident Alien, which earned gold certification and heavy radio/video play. They released multiple studio albums in the 1990s and 2000s, toured with major acts, and reunited intermittently after 2006. Per the band's official site, they later contributed to the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 soundtrack.
