Founded in the late 1990s by violinist Tom Chiu, FLUX Quartet has premiered more than 100 works by living composers and is widely noted for championing Morton Feldman's six?hour String Quartet No. 2. The ensemble has performed at major venues and festivals worldwide, collaborated with choreographers and interdisciplinary artists, and released recordings on labels including Mode, Tzadik, Innova and Cantaloupe.
