The Black Parade is the third studio album and concept project associated with American rock band My Chemical Romance, first released October 23, 2006. Centered on a dying protagonist called "The Patient," it spawned the hit single "Welcome to the Black Parade," debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and went on to achieve multi-platinum sales worldwide, inspiring the theatrical Black Parade World Tour and the live film release "The Black Parade Is Dead!".
