The Dirty Knobs began as guitarist Mike Campbell’s long-running side project and evolved into his primary band after years of occasional club shows. They released their debut album Wreckless Abandon in 2020 and followed with External Combustion (2022) and Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits (2024), touring widely and featuring guest appearances from artists such as Graham Nash and Lucinda Williams.
