About
Formed by Nate Ruess and Sam Means in 2002, the Format released Interventions + Lullabies (2003) and the critically praised Dog Problems (2006). The band went on hiatus in 2008 (Ruess later co-founded fun.) and reunited for shows in 2020 and again in 2025, releasing their third album Boycott Heaven in January 2026.
