The Innocent Criminals are the longtime backing band for singer-songwriter Ben Harper, officially coming together in the mid-1990s and appearing on many of his studio and live recordings. They have recorded and toured internationally with Harper on releases such as Burn to Shine (1999) and Call It What It Is (2016). The group's lineup has included long-term collaborators like Juan Nelson and Leon Mobley.
