About
Formed in 1964, The Junco Partners issued a self-titled album in 1970 (Philips/Barclay) and released several singles in the late 1970s and early 1980s. After an initial split around 1970–71 they regrouped in 1977 and continued touring and recording on the UK pub/club circuit. Their long-running lineup featured a steady rhythm section (Dave Sproat and John Woods) and members who later worked with other notable UK acts.
